Meet the Doctors

DR. RANDY M. SCHILSKY, BA, BS, D.C., F.A.B.S. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in human anatomy and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa graduating magna cum laude. He is the President of the North Carolina Board of Examiners and founder of the Onslow County Back Injury Prevention Team. Dr. Schilsky holds postgraduate certification in the treatment and diagnosis of soft tissue injury and spinal trauma. He is a fellow of the American Back Society. Licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic by the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine, Dr. Schilsky is also a certified impairment and disability evaluator. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
Dr. Schilsky was named a member of the Palmer College of Chiropractic Extension faculty. Dr. Schilsky was recently appointed to a three-year term on the N.C. State Board of Chiropractic Examiners by Governor Mike Easley. The NC licensing board is responsible for testing and granting licensure to practice in NC and for enforcing the laws that govern Chiropractic in NC for the purpose of public safety. Dr. Bodie R. Dorrance, Bsc, D.C.received his Bachelor of Science with Honors degree from Queen’s University of Canada and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University. During his undergraduate career he played Varsity football for Queen’s and was their starting wide receiver, punt and kickoff returner. His background in athletics began in high school when he was voted his hometown’s Top Athlete while serving as his high school’s Valedictorian and President of Student’s Council. He was awarded a Canadian Youth Medal in 1985 for his efforts to spur disaster relief for droughts which ravaged Ethiopia. He continues to hold several track sprint records at the high school level which were set over 20 years ago and credits much of his early success to chiropractic care which he has been receiving since 2 years of age.
Dr. Dorrance holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and was the NC State Games Sparring Champion in 2001. Since then he has completed the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. and the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. His sights are firmly set on summiting both Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier in the summer of 2010 and completing his language education in German, French, and Spanish. Presently, he is the Founder of Premier Chiropractic in Raleigh-Durham, Dorrance Chiropractic in Henderson, and partner of Dr. Randy Schilsky of Schilsky Chiropractic Center.

DR. BRETT WHITEKETTLE, BS, D.C. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology from Slippery Rock State University and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. |

DR. SEAN KEEFER, BS, D.C., earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Western Michigan University. He was a teacher for several years and played trumpet in a band. On deciding to be a Doctor of Chiropractic, he earned his degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He holds post graduate education in soft tissue injury and spinal trauma. Dr. Keefer is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. |
