Meet The Doctors

Dr. James E. Smith

Originally from Virginia Beach, VA., Dr. Smith graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a B.S. in Biology.  An injury playing college football let Dr. Smith to a chiropractor who fixed a stubborn injury and led him to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine.  Soon after, Dr. Smith then attended Life University earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic while a student at Life, Dr. Smith was lead clinician in an important research study linking chiropractic adjustments to immune system function.  

Upon graduation from Life, he taught various topics in Radiology and has since taught Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry at various institutions.  Dr. Smith is experienced in all facets of chiropractic care over a 20-year career and is looking forward to helping you.
